Other Public FINRA Awards From the Same Arbitrator

Peter Ordower, the sole arbitrator in our case, has served on many FINRA panels over more than 25 years. The awards below are a selection: public awards in which he served and the customer’s claims were denied.

Customers who were awarded money are not on this list. We have left out the customers’ names. Every award here is a public record that you can read in full on FINRA’s website by searching its case number.

Please read this first. On a three-person panel, the award is the decision of the whole panel, not of one arbitrator. A list of denials is not proof of bias, and we do not claim it is. FINRA awards rarely explain their reasons, so the only way to look at an arbitrator’s record is case by case. Read the awards and judge for yourself.
