Jordan Tepper

Victim Profile

Jordan Tepper Weiner

Jordan Tepper Weiner

Jordan Tepper Weiner is the son of Lawrence Jay Weiner and the designated contingent beneficiary (50%) on all of his father’s investment accounts. As an heir, Jordan has a direct financial stake in this case, as every dollar unlawfully extracted by Oppenheimer reduces his inheritance.

Jordan filed the original complaint with Oppenheimer, uncovered the “smoking gun” Patrick Wade email, secured expert medical testimony documenting cognitive decline, and has relentlessly pursued justice despite being wrongfully dismissed as a claimant by FINRA Arbitrator Peter Ordower.

Jordan’s Legal Standing

  • 50% contingent beneficiary on all IRA accounts
  • Direct financial interest in unlawfully charged fees
  • Power of Attorney during his father’s incapacity
  • Original FINRA arbitration claimant

What Jordan Has Done

  • Discovered the unauthorized 56% fee increase
  • Filed the original complaint with Oppenheimer
  • Obtained Patrick Wade’s email proving retroactive fraud
  • Secured expert testimony from Nicholas Gorsline, LCPC
  • Compiled and organized comprehensive evidence records
  • Drafted all FINRA arbitration pleadings and motions
  • Obtained official FINRA transcripts at personal expense
  • Filed federal court Motion to Vacate FINRA award

The Wrongful Dismissal

Despite explicitly acknowledging Jordan’s financial stake, FINRA Arbitrator Peter Ordower dismissed him as a claimant. During the April 28, 2025 hearing, when Jordan stated the funds directly affected his future pocketbook, Ordower responded: “Oh, I'm sure it does.”

Yet Ordower dismissed Jordan using vague language, calling him “sort of listed as a party somehow.” This dismissal appears designed to limit Jordan’s ability to appeal the verdict in federal court.
