Terri P. Tepper
Terri P. Tepper is the 83-year-old widow of Lawrence Jay Weiner. After losing her husband of more than 50 years to lung cancer on December 21, 2023, Terri discovered that Oppenheimer & Co. had exploited his documented cognitive decline by imposing a 56% fee increase during his final years.
When Terri sought accountability, she encountered institutional corruption at every level. Oppenheimer’s complaint department dismissed her evidence, FINRA arbitration ignored overwhelming proof of exploitation, and her own attorney committed malpractice by missing critical federal court deadlines and abandoning her case.
